Futura, now there's a name we've all come across. As a designer, the typeface has saved me countless times when I'm looking for something clean and sharp to compliment my work. 

 

This is a short type specimen book, heavily influenced by Bauhaus design, since Futura is essentially a Bauhaus typeface. There is extensive use of geometric shapes, and the colors used are pastels of the three primary colors. I diluted down the strong primary colors to their pastel versions to bring a sense of nostalgic futurism to the design, and also as a visual link to old sci-fi films, which Futura played a huge part in as a typeface.
